I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location of Hotel In Kyoto Sasarindou, situated in the heart of Gion where there are plenty of restaurants and shopping venues. Additionally, it was just a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest station. The highlight of my stay was spotting geishas walking about at night, adding to the authentic Kyoto experience. Despite some minor flaws, the clean and spacious room with a jacuzzi tub made my stay comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and decent facilities.

The room was spacious and had great amenities, including a big bathroom with a spa bath and a separate bidet. the hotel was located in a central area close to main attractions, making it easy to get around.
Smoking in the hallways on each floor caused the smell of smoke to drift into the room, which was off-putting. the noise from the nearby casino/slot machine place disrupted my sleep on a few nights.
